Wow- 1000 posts is a lot!! You could always do a post featuring some of your favorite posts, or a question/answer session...or just a "Congratulations to me!" post! ;)

I know why they push the don't follow on mine but I can't imagine them doing it on yours. Maybe they cancel their profile or something. I also watch my follower list, seems if I get new ones then opine political sometimes they go away or the reverse someone follows political then I put a half naked fat boy pic and poof there they go!
